Open Year Round! We are not a restaurant, we are a retail store. General Information Francis Thill , who began fishing commericially in 1948 in the waters of Garden Peninsula. In 1959 he moved to Marquette and in 1961 opened a retail shop. Ted (owner) the second Generation (Francis son), the Third generation Ted’s Son Dan runs fish boat (Linda Lee) With his brother Adam and Forth Generation, Dan’s Son Dylan. While Visiting the Fish house, peer over the counter and see family members in there fishing oilers cleaning ,dressing,and filleting the day’s catch. If you come in the right day you will smell the applewood smoker, the smell is indescribable which goes without saying so is the Smoke fish!
